Here too was interesting...I have a couple samples but didn't realize I couldn't upload them in my comments, so next time I'll just type the question in the post and put pictures of some of the student work. We saw: Some of the JK/SK's able to draw some jellybeans and record the number with them, or a person with the number Some SK's had a picture of the desk and bowl with 28 jelly beans and a person with 7 but didn't do anything with them. One had 2 bowls, one with 28 and then a person with 7 and another bowl with 35 and when asked where 35 came from he said he counted on to get it. And the grade 1's went to solving the problem and were able to explain how they arrived at the answer.... **Some are writing equations but can't tell you what the + or = means....
